we are getting on with the vaccinating of calves, soil preparation for autumn planting, bulls are still out in the cows mopping up after our artificial insemination programs, blackberries are growing, even in this dry, so they are being sprayed, dams are dry so we are busy desilting them, yards are being remodelled at “Maiden Creek” Harry is embarking on a big fencing and water program down there. We won’t be looking for trouble anyway with the list we have for summer.
Our young bulls for sale this year were divided up into two smaller mobs as when they are hungry they tend to aggravate each other and we have injuries and even deaths if we are not vigilant. Now we have two mobs of 90 bulls. They are coming along well considering everything.
