The sale commenced at 1pm with a full set of stands as well as 202 logged on through Auctions Plus.
At the end of the sale 99 bulls sold from 99 offered with an average of $12,208 and a top of $32,000. Longstanding clients John, Deb and Townsend Curtin secured the top price bull, Lot 93 Eaglehawk Powerpoint T536, for their Moredun Station operation. Volume buyer securing 7 bulls at an average of $13,428 was Nick and Kate Benson of OK Cattle company for their Yarrowitch property.
Bulls were purchased from as far north as Hughenden in north Qld and as far south as northern Tasmania. 37 bulls travelled to Queensland, two to Tasmania with the remaining 60 staying in NSW.
It’s also important to note that our purchasers were not bidding against credits in the stands, which means the prices were fair and reflective of true market value.
17 bulls were purchased online through Auctions Plus with the remainder selling to customers in the stand. Return customers dominated with 62 bulls going into existing Eaglehawk clients herds with 15 new customers picking up the other 34
bulls.
Spicklers Powerpoint sons were among the most sought-after and commanded the highest prices, reflecting their exceptional quality and market demand. LD Capitalist 316, even after his recent passing, continues to leave a legacy, with his sons remaining a top choice for many buyers. The exclusive US sires, McCumber Carbon and U2 Coalition, also made a strong impact, with 18 and 19 sons, respectively, attracting significant attention.
Strong Value Across All Price Ranges

Whether aiming for bulls under $8,000 or willing to invest up to $20,000, there was ample choice available, making it a solid and well-balanced sale.

We are confident these bulls will seamlessly integrate into the various cow herds, making a solid and positive impact whether you’re after maternal qualities, pure power, or the often underestimated value of longevity and sound structure. We’re proud of the lineup we presented this year—they are well-tempered, naturally soft, and muscular, with strong maternal pedigrees. This combination is always a winner for producing easy-turnoff calves and feedlot-strong yearlings.
And remember, we’re always here if you have any problems, need advice, or just want to share some good news—we love hearing your success stories!
