Cathedral Rock bush fire was the doozy that menaced us. What a week! It ended up only burning 600acres and some fencing, which we are grateful for as at one stage we were told to evacuate (which we didn’t). We were running 600 cows and calves there and just had to defend them. We are so grateful to everyone who helped us fight the fires especially the boys from neighbouring “Lynoch” and “Rockvale” and “Springfield” stations who stood beside us and fought day and night for the week with their utes and spray rigs. They were champions.
Then Mother Nature decided we should end 2020 with a bushfire…..
