Lots of bulls and cows…and a whole lotta miles.
After our bull sale we went on our bi annual genetic finding trip to the USA for 3 weeks. We started and ended in Dallas and travelled almost to the Canadian border to the north and Billings to the West, something like 9,000kms. Fast and furious, but we found some exciting new sires and inspected some exceptional herds right across the country.
We met some awesome people and renewed old acquaintances which we thoroughly enjoyed. The whole of the USA was having a fantastic summer so it was very frustrating for us as we left our team feeding hungry cattle at home. We are expecting calves from the sires we found this spring so will keep you updated. We have an exclusive on a bull called PAINTROCK TRAPPER after this year he is on the open market so we have some interested bystanders. Watch this space.
